Love these. OUr doors are ever so slightly too thick for any locks I could find in stores. These are great. Not too ugly since they are clear. Keeps my toddler out of his bedroom closets and still easy for me to get in.
Keeps the door shut, but also gets stuck

We have these on metal bi-fold doors. We did have to lower the doors a little (by adjusting the screws) but this wasn't really a big deal. The rod that hangs down to move the door lock from side to side is fairly useless because, even on a door where this slides easily, the rod just bends when used. I've also had a problem with it getting stuck a few times when I forgot to move it aside before opening the door. Aside from the problems I've had though it does keep the door shut and is well out of reach of my son so I would still recommend this product.

I'd been worried for a while about how to keep our toddler out of the folding closet doors in her room. I read about some not-so-good locks online, but I decided to try these based on the positive reviews. Never would I have thought a small piece of plastic would work so well, but it does! I bought four of these locks to keep our two, 2-door closets secured. They slide easily for adult access, but our daughter cannot get to anything in the closet. Great product!
Keeps kids and more out of bifold doors!

Unlike most who probably purchased these to keep small children from getting into things they don't belong in, I bought them to keep my two curious cats out of the closet that we store their food in. My older cat was clever enough to figure out how to bounce himself off the door so it would spring open . . . and then the feast was on!! But not anymore with these locks! They are simple, unobtrusive, and cheap! I would highly recommend these to anyone needing to keep bifold doors secured!

This is a very simple, cheap plastic item, but it does it's job perfectly! I don't have to worry about my 2-year-old opening the bi-fold closet doors in her bedroom and getting her fingers stuck!
